The second National Ranking Tournament of the season, the Trophée des Volcans brings U15, U17 and senior wrestlers together on 14 and 15 November at the Arténium in Ceyrat, near Clermont-Ferrand, in freestyle, women's and Greco-Roman wrestling. Points count towards the French national ranking.

What's at stake
The Trophée des Volcans is the second leg of the French wrestling federation's 2026-2027 National Ranking Tournament. Each placing earns points in the national ranking: 100 for a win, 70 for second, 50 for third, 40 for fourth, 30 for fifth and 10 for all other entrants. U20 wrestlers may compete as seniors without special clearance, and veterans A and B are admitted subject to federal medical rules. A club that provides a regional or national referee receives 300 points, counted at the end of the season.
Schedule
Friday 13 November: doors open at 5 pm, freestyle weigh-in from 5:30 to 7 pm. Saturday 14 November: freestyle competition from 9:30 am, then women's and Greco-Roman weigh-in from 5:30 to 7 pm. Sunday 15 November: women's and Greco-Roman competition from 9 am. Clubs enter their wrestlers on the federal extranet until Thursday 12 November at 2 pm; entry costs 25 euros for seniors and 20 euros for U15 and U17.
Getting there
The Arténium is in Ceyrat (Puy-de-Dôme), in the Clermont-Ferrand metropolitan area, about twenty minutes from the city centre by car or bus. The event is run by ASM Omnisports. No broadcast has been announced.
