What's at stake
IFMA, the IOC-recognised world body for amateur Muay Thai, awards its youth world titles. The 2026 edition is held in Olympia, in the Peloponnese, home of the ancient Olympic Games. The federation expects more than 2,000 young athletes from over 100 countries.
The Panhellenic Muaythai Federation is hosting. National teams qualified at home during the spring and summer; Thailand, for example, sends the 40 winners of its youth championships in Ayutthaya.
Schedule
The championships run from Friday 6 to Monday 16 November 2026, including arrivals, weigh-ins and finals. IFMA rules include combat events and technical events (wai kru and mae mai muay thai). IFMA has not published a detailed day-by-day schedule.
Getting there
Olympia lies in the western Peloponnese, about 300 km from Athens. IFMA has not yet named the venue or public access arrangements.
