What's at stake
Leonardo Mosquea, of the Bron Boxing Academy, has been the WBA's number one cruiserweight (200 lb) since September. Unbeaten in 19 pro fights, a former French and EBU European champion, he also holds the WBA Ibero-America belt, defended twice. Against Croatia's Marko Calic (17-2) he puts his contender status on the line: the WBA recognises David Benavidez as "super" champion and Jai Opetaia as "regular" champion, and Mosquea should be named Opetaia's mandatory challenger.
Schedule
WBA Gold International cruiserweight title fight as the main event. The card includes five other pro bouts, among them a WBA Mediterranean women's lightweight title fight between Lilia Chérifi and Isis Pizagou Logerie. Venue, start times and ticketing have not been published yet.
