Synopsis
Adonis Creed has retired and runs his boxing gym in Los Angeles, with his wife Bianca and their daughter Amara. Damian Anderson, a childhood friend and former Golden Gloves prodigy, walks out of prison after many years and demands a title shot. His return brings back a debt Creed never settled.
Why watch it
Creed III is the first Rocky film without Sylvester Stallone on screen: he stays on as producer, but Rocky Balboa does not appear. Michael B. Jordan makes his directing debut and returns as Adonis Creed. The film grossed $276.1 million worldwide, the best result in the Creed series.
A rival from the past
Jonathan Majors plays Damian "Diamond Dame" Anderson, a raw talent who lost his best years behind bars. The fight pits two styles against each other: the clean technique of an established champion against the rage and dirty tricks of a man with nothing to lose.
Real boxers in the cast
American boxer José Benavidez Jr. plays Felix Chavez, the champion Adonis trains. Britain's Tony Bellew, a former WBC cruiserweight world champion, returns as Ricky Conlan. Terence Crawford appears as a sparring partner and Canelo Álvarez cameos as himself. Florian Munteanu is back as Viktor Drago.
Boxing shot like anime
Jordan drew on anime for the fights, naming Hajime no Ippo, Megalobox, Naruto Shippuden and Dragon Ball Z. The final bout drifts away from realism at times, but boxers will still spot the basics: bag work, sparring, distance control and body shots.
Reception
It scored 89% on Rotten Tomatoes and 73 out of 100 on Metacritic. In France, TF1 airs it on Sunday 25 October 2026 at 11.25pm, and it streams on Prime Video.
